PSII Event Brings Together Smart Infrastructure Collaborators

The Pennsylvania Smart Infrastructure Incubator (PSII) held its annual partner meeting and symposium on May 8, 2012. The annual partner meeting provides an opportunity for industry and organizational partners to meet with Carnegie Mellon faculty, directors, and graduate students to address current and future approaches to issues relating to smart infrastructure research and real-world implementation.

During the morning session, industry partners, including Gannett Fleming, IBM, OSIsoft, Redzone Robotics, Samsung, Sylvania, and Thingworx, gave short presentations on their companies' interest in Smart Infrastructure technologies. The afternoon session included an open symposium for speakers, demos, and poster sessions. As well, the PSII space was showcased, including the IBM Smarter Infrastructure Lab and the Bombardier Smart Infrastructure Collaboration Center.
