Phil's research involves bioavailability of growth factors, growth factor association and dissociation with various interstitial components, proteolytic processing, biomimetic tissue engineered materials, musculoskeletal tissue repair and regeneration.
Phil received his B.S., Animal Science, in 1978 from Auburn University, M.S., Animal Science, in 1981 from Auburn University, and Physiology Ph.D. in 1988 from Pennsylvania State University.
