Dowd-ICES Fellowship
How To Apply For The Fellowship
2007 Dowd Fellows: Sasha Bakhru, Rowena Mittal, Saurabh Puri, and Warren Ruder.
The Philip and Marsha Dowd Engineering Seed Fund was established in 2001 through a generous gift to the College of Engineering (CIT) from Philip (B.S. Materials Science and Engineering, 1963) and Marsha Dowd. This fellowship grant program, administered through ICES, provides support for graduate students working on cutting edge research projects which do not have other sources of funding.
ICES is pleased to announce the 2006 Dowd-ICES fellows: Chao-Min Cheng, Sinan Filiz, Paul Glass
and JitKang Lim. This year's Fellows were selected based on the innovative nature of their projects,
the ability of their research to support the ICES mission of fostering a multidisciplinary research
environment, and the likelihood that their research may facilitate government and industry support
in future years.
