CEINT @ Carnegie Mellon is an interdisciplinary center within ICES. Our vision is to elucidate the relationship between the vast array of nanomaterials and properties to their environmental and human health risks. Graduate students and faculty from seven departments within the Carnegie Institute of Technology and the Mellon College of Science including Civil & Environmental Engineering, Engineering & Public Policy, Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemistry study the occurrences, transport, transformations, fate, and toxicity of engineered nanomaterials in the environment, aiming to understand the potential environmental exposure, biological effects, and ecological consequences.

APPLY TO CEINT

CEINT @ CMU Ph.D. graduate fellowships are available for motivated students from engineering, chemistry, and related fields. Students with a B.S. and/or M.S. degree in engineering or related field are encouraged to apply. Click to visit our application page.
