PITA FY2018 Proposal Call

The ERA is pleased to announce the call for proposals for the 2018 Pennsylvania Infrastructure Technology Alliance (PITA) program. The Pennsylvania Governor and General Assembly recently approved $1,750,000 in funding for the 2017 PITA program. Carnegie Mellon (ICES) and Lehigh University will equally split this amount to fund the program again this year. Each University will receive approximately $875,000 in this cycle. We anticipate that PITA funding will be released by the funding agency in the upcoming weeks. Award memos to faculty will not be made until the funding has been released.

Information on the proposal process is provided in the RFP and Cost Proposal form on the right. Please review the selection guidelines outlined in the RFP.

In this cycle, PITA funding for an individual project award is limited to $70,000. However, please note that many of the projects will be funded at a level below this limit due to our budget constraints.

Please feel free to distribute this call for proposals to your colleagues or other interested parties, and please contact Burak Ozdoganlar (ozdoganlar@cmu.edu) or Colleen Mantini (cmantini@cmu.edu) if you have any question about the proposal process.

Thanks for your interest and Good Luck!
